Starting a dialogue. That's all we wanted to accomplish with this discussion. Yes, we are two white men in rural America, but we do not stand with police brutality or racism. All we wanted to do was have a conversation and step out of our comfort zone by discussing what happened to George Floyd and the results of the protests afterward. Our DMs are always open to continue this dialogue because we believe that is how real change occurs. Listen. Reflect. Do what you can to incite change. Sports are slowly starting to come back into our lives! Over the last week or so we have seen three UFC events, a NASCAR race, soccer overseas, and a golf match for charity. While these aren't the main sports we are used to watching, they all set very good precedents for the NBA, NHL, and MLB to come back. With that knowledge, your favorite 2 Drunk Brothers propose their plans on how we can bring these leagues back this summer and salvage the seasons without majorly impacting next year. Let us know your thoughts and if you have a better plan! We also discuss the Drive for Relief charity golf skins match that happened this past weekend between Rory McIlroy & Dustin Johnson vs. Rickie Fowler & Dustin Wolf. It was fun and was a perfect segway to the ProAm match happening this weekend between Tiger Woods & Peyton Manning vs. Phil Mickelson & Tom Brady. It should be a good one and Travis breaks down the event and who to hammer. The NFL draft was crazy to say the least.... our mock draft did less than stellar, but with so many curveballs a lot of experts whiffed on their picks too. We briefly revisit our mock draft and then dive into grading all 32 teams' drafts. We go division by division and give our grades for every team, as well as who did the best in each. Obviously, Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin, Doc Antle, and Jeff Lowe captured the hearts and minds of America with the documentary about private big cat ownership and the feud amongst all of them. We break down the documentary and discuss some of the biggest talking points and give our thoughts as to who is guilty, who killed who, and so much more! The 2 Drunk Brothers enjoyed the HELL out of week 1 of the XFL! We chat about what surprised us from the first week of the new league, as well as what needs to be improved upon going forward. Overall, we think the league has some legs and are excited to see how week 2 pans out! In "Degenerate's Digest" we preview week 2 of the XFL and give you our gambling picks for the weekend, as we now have some information about each team in the league. NBA All-Star weekend takes place in Chicago and kicks off on Friday, so we break down all of the events and give you our picks to win the Skills Contest, 3-point Contest, and Slam Dunk Competition. And let's just say we are BIG on Team Lebron to win the All-Star game on Sunday.
