The NFL season is so close that we can smell it! We wrap up our divisional previews this week by knocking two of them out, the NFC South and NFC West. We run through the team's off seasons and give our thoughts on their over/under win totals by going through their schedules. Next week we have some exciting football content coming your way, but you'll have to listen to hear that =) On the intro, we discuss UFC 252 from this past weekend and the implications from Jon Jones relinquishing his LHW belt. We also chat about the NBA playoffs and how this year might be the craziest in recent memory. Lastly, we chat about Fernando Tatis Jr. and how the unwritten rules of baseball are dumb. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/2drunkbrothers/support

The Ochocinco Episode!!!! We are taking a break from the NFL divisional breakdowns this week to give you a full recap of what is going on in the sports world. On the intro we kick things off by talking about the current state of college football and whether or not we will get any remnants of a season and how spring ball could effect the NFL/draft prospects next spring. 'Degenerate's Digest' is back as we breakdown the UFC 252 card this weekend and give 5 gambling picks on the main card. We are back with a big time episode because sports are back!!! On the intro we chat about the NBA/NHL bubble life and how it compares to the MLB's horrendous return to play plan, as well as what the MLB is going to do to make up games missed due to COVID-19 cases. We also discuss what the NFL can do to return to play and we offer our solution as to how the NFL can potentially make a bubble atmosphere work for all teams. After that, we continue on with our NFL divisional previews and discuss the NFC North, which could be a pretty competitive division this year. We give you a sleeper, breakout, bust, and MVP of each team and also break down their schedule and over/under win total on the year. It feels weird doing an MLB season preview at the end of July, but that means that American sports are right around the corner! We welcome back a former guest, Mr. Jack Nations, to discuss all things MLB and how we see the season shaping out. We chat about the shortened season & how we see teams taking different approaches to in-game strategies and day-to-day operations. Also, if you didn't know there are some new rules for the 2020 season this year and we discuss how this might effect the game, as well as the schedule changes and which teams could benefit most from playing an inferior division. You know it wouldn't be a 2 Drunk Brothers episode without some gambling talk, so we wrap up the show by discussing our picks (and good value bets) to win the MVP, Cy Young, and Rookie of the Year in each league. We also give you our division winners, wild card winners, and who we see hoisted the World Series trophy at the the end of the year. We hope you all enjoyed this episode, and be sure to check out Jack's new podcast premiering in August called "I Might Be Off Base" (@imightbeoffbase on the socials)! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/2drunkbrothers/support

After taking a week off for America's Birthday (and our last week off as long as there is going to be football in the fall), we come back to you with a LOADED episode. We kick things off by giving our picks, and gambling bets, for 4 fights on the main card for UFC 251 that is taking place on fight island in Abu Dahbi. 3 of the main card fights are title fights including a YUGE scrap between Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman for the Welterweight title, so you won't want to miss this one Saturday night. We continue on with our divisional breakdowns of the NFL and we decided to head to the AFC West this week because Patrick Mahomes got a BAG and it just felt right. As always we break down each team's offseason, as well as who we think their sleeper, breakout, bust, & MVP is going to be for the 2020 season, and follow it up with our bets for their Vegas over/under win total for the year. We are back after a short two week hiatus, and we are happy to say that this will be our last extended break for the rest of 2020 (as long as sports are coming back as promised)! For all of you old school listeners you know what this episode is all about, but for you newbies we will be breaking down each NFL division over the next 8 weeks and we start with the AFC East. We take a look at each team's departures, arrivals, & draft class and decide whether they got better or worse. The 2 Drunk Brothers also pick a sleeper, breakout, bust, and MVP for each team in 2020, as well as discuss whether you should take the over or under for each team's win total for the 2020 season. Starting a dialogue. That's all we wanted to accomplish with this discussion. Yes, we are two white men in rural America, but we do not stand with police brutality or racism. All we wanted to do was have a conversation and step out of our comfort zone by discussing what happened to George Floyd and the results of the protests afterward. Our DMs are always open to continue this dialogue because we believe that is how real change occurs. Listen. Reflect. Do what you can to incite change. On the 2nd half of the show we discuss the NHL and NBA's plans to return to play and give our thoughts on how both leagues approached it. We also chat about UFC 250 happening this weekend.
